LAGRIDE: GET 1,000 BRAND NEW CARS

  By Pharaoh_EZ, Lagos.   Lagos State Governor Mr. Babajide Sanwo-Olu, earlier today Wednesday 23 rd , March, 2022 launched a safe, comfortable modernized taxi scheme in Lagos State; the first batch of 1,000 brand new vehicles under the LAGRIDE scheme. According to the Mr Babajide Sanwo-Olu the scheme will be operated on a lease to own basis, as component of our multimodal transportation blueprint. The long desire to provide a dignifying and more rewarding means of livelihood for the underemployed and the unemployed people in the State gave birth to the new Lagos State Taxi Scheme. UK SUSPENDS VISA TO NIGERIANS

  BY:   Pharaoh_Ez The UK Embassy yesterday said through their spokesperson on Twitter, that Nigerians seeking for family Visa, holiday visa, work permit visa and students Visa is at the moment suspended. They said that this is due to the ongoing UKRAINE INVASION by Russia. They further stated that the UK Government came up with this decision in order to be able to accommodate more Ukrainian refugees fleeing from the war torn country. As more Ukrainian refugees are migrating to the UK by the day for safety and protection. They also said that the consulate would put a call to those Nigerians whose passports are already due for collection in a matter of days to come.     The Ukraine and Russia war has been ongoing for more than fourteen days now. NIJ: NIGERIA INSTITUTE OF JOURNALISM MATRICULATE STUDENTS INTO 2021/2022 ACADEMIC SECTION

While addressing the new matriculating students into the institution at the NIJ campus, 8-14 Ijaiye road, Ogba, Ikeja, Lagos. The chief provost of the school Mr. Gbenga Adefaye in his keynote address, told the students of both ND, HND and PGD to be of good behaviour and role mode of the prestigious institution. FEDERAL MINISTRY OF FINANCE GUTTERED BY FIRE

With the shocking news of the Federal Ministry of Finance building Abuja, being gutted by fire.   The Federal Fire Service responded swiftly as the inferno was briskly contained before it could spread to other parts of the building. It was discovered according to an eyewitness account, that the fire began from the room housing the battery inverters. It was later discovered that two battery inverters exploded which resulted to the inferno. MC OLUOMO BREAK AWAY FROM NURTW

  By: PharaohEZ Following the recent suspension handed out to the Lagos chairman of Nigeria Union Of Road Transport Workers (NURTW),   Alhaji Musilliu Ayinde   Akinsanya popularly known as MC OLUOMO by the National body in Abuja. In the letter he was told to handover to his Deputy-Chairman properties belonging to the Union with immediate effect by the National President. This is due to the misunderstanding and infighting that has been going on amongst the Union especially at the Lagos branch. He was being accused of an act of insubordination. MC OLUOMO while speaking at the Union Secretariat office on Thursday 10 th 2022 at Agege, seized the opportunity to call on the Lagos State Government, GOV Babajide Sanwo-Olu to take over the State branch of the Union. UKRAINE INVASION: FIRST BATCH OF NIGERIANS ARRIVE FROM ROMANIA

The FG of Nigeria commenced the evacuation of Nigerians both those living and schooling in Ukraine.   PMB yesterday before leaving for UK for medical tourism, gave the sum of $8.5m dollars to the ministry of Foreign Affairs and Nigerians in Diaspora to ensure that those Nigerians living and schooling in Ukraine, that are willing to return back to Nigeria are safely brought back home. He made this known to the public through the Minister of Foreign Affairs Humphrey Onyema.   Earlier today Friday 4 th of March, 2022, the first batch of Nigerians living in Ukraine arrived into the country by MaxAir Flight NO: VM602 from Bucharest to Abuja and landed at Nnamdi Azikiwe Int'l Airport at exactly 7:10am WAT.   Other batch is being expected to fly into the country later on, as   there is slight delay in the documentation processes. UKRAINE, RUSSIAN WAR: FG TO EVACUATE NIGERIANS ON MONDAY

  By: PharaohEZ The Minister of Foreign Affairs Mr. Humphrey Onyema told journalists yesterday that the FG is making plans to evacuate Nigerians living and schooling in Ukraine. He further said that, Nigerians should not be afraid but they should be calm, as they are talking to Airpeace to assist them. The House of Representatives also had a quick session where they called on PMB to do something urgent to evacuate Nigerians in Ukraine. Mrs. Abike Dabiri the Minister for Nigerians in Diaspora Affairs said all hands is on desk to ensure the safety of Nigerians in Ukraine. She said for now that nothing can be done as land borders and Airports are closed.   Its said that there are over 4,000 Nigerians living and schooling in Ukraine.
