LAGRIDE: GET 1,000 BRAND NEW CARS

Lagos State Governor Mr. Babajide Sanwo-Olu, earlier today Wednesday 23rd, March, 2022 launched a safe, comfortable modernized taxi scheme in Lagos State; the first batch of 1,000 brand new vehicles under the LAGRIDE scheme.

According to the Mr Babajide Sanwo-Olu the scheme will be operated on a lease to own basis, as component of our multimodal transportation blueprint. The long desire to provide a dignifying and more rewarding means of livelihood for the underemployed and the unemployed people in the State gave birth to the new Lagos State Taxi Scheme.

He further said that, this arrangement would see beneficiaries being provided with a brand new car which would later become the  driver’s own personal property following the completion of the subsidized price.

 

He told reporters, that what is being witnessed today in Lagos, is a fulfillment of his campaign promises to Lagosians to rid the State of jalopies and place it on the boulevard of Mega-City; which is a well be fitting and deserving status that Lagos truly had been yearning for.

 

In addition, he said that it will also provide job opportunities for the people in the State, improve on revenue generation, youth employment and economic development to Lagosians.

FEDERAL MINISTRY OF FINANCE GUTTERED BY FIRE

 Written by: PharaohEZ Nigerians woke up on Wednesday morning 22 nd February, 2023. With the shocking news of the Federal Ministry of Finance building Abuja, being gutted by fire.   The Federal Fire Service responded swiftly as the inferno was briskly contained before it could spread to other parts of the building. It was discovered according to an eyewitness account, that the fire began from the room housing the battery inverters. It was later discovered that two battery inverters exploded which resulted to the inferno. MC OLUOMO BREAK AWAY FROM NURTW

  By: PharaohEZ Following the recent suspension handed out to the Lagos chairman of Nigeria Union Of Road Transport Workers (NURTW),   Alhaji Musilliu Ayinde   Akinsanya popularly known as MC OLUOMO by the National body in Abuja. In the letter he was told to handover to his Deputy-Chairman properties belonging to the Union with immediate effect by the National President. This is due to the misunderstanding and infighting that has been going on amongst the Union especially at the Lagos branch. He was being accused of an act of insubordination.
