FUEL SCARCITY BITES HARDER IN LAGOS

Lagosians are not finding it funny at all, as fuel scarcity bites harder.  Each coming and passing day is gradually becoming hellish for both Commuters and Car owners.

 

The roads are almost like a Ghost Yards, with virtually all the bus stops crowded like market. Commuters complained that transportation had skyrocketed hundred percent. Some vehicle owners said that the few filling stations that has PMS is selling at an unofficial price. Long queues were seen today Wednesday, 16th February, 2022, at Egbeda all the way down to Airport Road in Ajao area of Oshodi. As I drove around to monitor the plight of Lagosians.

Long queues had once again returned back to Lagos Roads with few yellow buses with the product taking advantage of the people. Some of the people that I spoke with, said from Ikotun to Iyana-Ipaja before the scarcity was between One hundred Naira and One Hundred and Fifty Naira, is now between Two Hundred Naira and Two Hundred and Fifty Naira. From Pen-cinema Agege to Ojodu Berger before the fuel scarcity used to be One Hundred Naira but is now One Hundred and Fifty Naira.  From Ogba to Ikeja under bridge used to be One Hundred Naira but is now between One Hundred and Fifty and Two Hundred Naira.

Lagosians are calling on the Government of PMB to brace up to the occasion and cushion the situation. They said the FG should ensure that those responsible for the importation of the adulterated product are brought to book. They are also saying that the FG should pay compensation to those Nigerians whose vehicles and Generators are damaged by the bad fuel.

 

People were seen trekking a long distance including school Children, as the few available vehicles and Keke could not meet the daily demands of commuters. Black marketers had sway as they were seen selling Five Litres of fuel between Five Thousand Naira and Ten Thousand Naira.

FEDERAL MINISTRY OF FINANCE GUTTERED BY FIRE

 Written by: PharaohEZ Nigerians woke up on Wednesday morning 22 nd February, 2023. With the shocking news of the Federal Ministry of Finance building Abuja, being gutted by fire.   The Federal Fire Service responded swiftly as the inferno was briskly contained before it could spread to other parts of the building. It was discovered according to an eyewitness account, that the fire began from the room housing the battery inverters. It was later discovered that two battery inverters exploded which resulted to the inferno. MC OLUOMO BREAK AWAY FROM NURTW

  By: PharaohEZ Following the recent suspension handed out to the Lagos chairman of Nigeria Union Of Road Transport Workers (NURTW),   Alhaji Musilliu Ayinde   Akinsanya popularly known as MC OLUOMO by the National body in Abuja. In the letter he was told to handover to his Deputy-Chairman properties belonging to the Union with immediate effect by the National President. This is due to the misunderstanding and infighting that has been going on amongst the Union especially at the Lagos branch. He was being accused of an act of insubordination.
